About

The future is hybrid. Modern applications depend on a mix of data, microservices, and AI models that can be stored and running from anywhere: Public cloud, Private cloud, On-premises, or at the edge. Today’s enterprises are faced with increasing networking complexities, security exploitations, and rising cloud costs that threaten to stifle their flexibility and innovation. Teams are looking for ways that their networks can still connect all their changing systems together without sacrificing performance or security.

IBM Hybrid Cloud Mesh was created to provide an overlay network for application microservices distributed among different environments, delivering any service, anytime, anywhere.

My role

I worked as a lead Visual Designer for Hybrid Cloud Mesh. I utilized my expertise in the IBM design system to ensure design compliance with IBM brand and UX standards, including accessibility requirements. I collaborated with UX designers, improving ideas from low fidelity drafts to polished, development ready designs.

My roles included:

  • Close collaboration with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to turn concepts into an optimized experience for our users.

  • Creation of polished designs as well as detailed spec sheets and annotations for the development team.

  • Creation of delightful and playful illustrations for the product.

  • Creation of additional design assets including white papers, product decks, technical diagrams, and marketing materials.
